Lebanon, PA - Last year, you met Thomas as a vendor. This April 3, he’s coming back to the Greater Wellness Holistics Expo in Lebanon, PA with something new: a book. Time to Transcend: A Medium’s Awakening tells the story behind his work, and he shared a glimpse of it with us ahead of its release. His business is now Thomas Andrew Time To Transcend, and here is where the story begins.

About Time to Transcend: A Medium’s Awakening

The full title tells you a lot: Time to Transcend: A Medium’s Awakening — Friendship, Coming Out, Recovery, a Little Drag, and Discovering That Love Never Dies. It is Thomas’s upcoming book, and as he describes it, it covers friendship, coming out, recovery, and the experiences that led him to mediumship.

That is a wide mix, and it is what makes the book stand out. It is not only a story about a medium. It is a story about a whole person: friendship and loss, coming out, recovery, and a little humor along the way. The part of the title we keep coming back to is the last one, discovering that love never dies.

Thomas has said he will share the release date and where to buy the book as it gets closer. You can follow along at TimeToTranscend.com.

A Promise Made and Kept. Nearly Ten Years Later.

Every good story starts with a person, and in this one, that person is Allen. Thomas describes him as one of those people who could make you laugh when you didn’t feel like laughing, who could turn an ordinary evening into something memorable, and who had a way of making his presence known wherever he went. Allen had a larger-than-life personality, a wonderful sense of humor, and a laugh you could never forget.

Over the years, the two friends shared countless conversations, plenty of laughter, and the kind of experiences that become part of who you are. Some of those conversations went a little deeper. They talked about life, death, spirituality, and the possibility that something of us continues after our physical bodies are gone.

Somewhere along the way, they made a pact. It was a simple agreement: whoever died first would find a way to contact the other from the other side. They were serious about it, Thomas says, although knowing the two of them, there was probably some laughter involved as well.

Allen died on September 19, 2014. Thomas lost one of his dearest friends and, like anyone who has lost someone they love, had to learn how to keep living without his physical presence. But he never forgot their conversations or the promise they had made. As the years passed, he sometimes wondered about that pact. Was Allen somewhere out there? Had he tried to reach out? Would Thomas recognize him if he did?

He didn’t have the answers.

The Day Everything Changed

At the end of 2023, Thomas’s life began changing in ways he could never have anticipated. He had stopped drinking, and within weeks he began experiencing things that challenged nearly everything he thought he understood about himself and the world around him.

By early April 2024, those experiences were becoming increasingly difficult to explain. Something was happening, but he didn’t yet have the vocabulary or the understanding to describe it.

And then came April 3rd.

Why This Story Belongs at a Wellness Expo

People come to the Greater Wellness Holistics Expo for many different reasons. Some arrive curious about a modality they have never tried. Some are looking for a practitioner they connect with. Some are simply there to wander, talk to friendly people, and see what catches their attention. And some, quietly, are carrying a loss of their own.

Thomas’s story is his own account of what he experienced, and we share it that way. We are not asking anyone to believe anything. What we love about it is how human it is: a friendship full of laughter, a promise made seriously and with a smile, and a person who spent years not knowing what, if anything, would come of it.

It is also a story about change. Getting sober and discovering something unexpected about yourself. We think that is exactly the kind of conversation the expo is meant to make room for.

Who This Story May Speak To

If you have lost someone you love and wondered whether the connection continues, this story may speak to you. If you have been through recovery, or through a season when your life changed faster than you could explain it, you may see a little of yourself in it. And if you simply enjoy a story with heart, humor, and a good cliffhanger, you are in the right place.

It is one person’s honest account, not a promise of any particular experience. Read it, sit with it, and take from it whatever feels true to you.

Thomas will be at the Greater Wellness Holistics Expo on April 3, 2027, and we would love for you to meet him in person. If his story speaks to you, get your tickets and come say hello.
