Lebanon, PA - Sara Estrada of The Healing Bee is back for another spotlight ahead of this year's Greater Wellness Holistics Expo in Lebanon, PA — this time with a closer look at the specific bodywork modality she practices, the Trager Approach, plus the local honey she sells alongside it.
Meet Sara
Sara Estrada is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in Pennsylvania, holding PA Massage License #MSG012046. She brings 7 years of experience as a massage therapist and 21 years of experience working as a social worker to her practice, and has trained across a range of holistic therapies aimed at supporting physical, mental, and emotional well-being — including a background in Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, and Reiki, alongside her current focus on the Trager Approach. Her goal, as she puts it, is to provide a nurturing and healing environment for clients to relax and rejuvenate.
What Is the Trager Approach?
The Trager Approach was developed by Milton Trager, M.D., through what Trager International describes as "a lifelong commitment to exploring the mind-body relationship," using gentle touch and movement awareness. In practice, it's a gentle, lulling form of bodywork built around a few key principles — compression, elongation, rotation, rhythm, and pausing or stillness — aimed at helping the body find length, fluidity, and freedom.
Unlike a typical massage, Trager sessions are done fully clothed, with no oils or lotions, making it a non-invasive way to build body-mind awareness. Sara describes it as a nervous system reset, geared toward eliciting a relaxation response for anyone feeling anxious, and generally effective for stress reduction.
Sessions and Pricing
A 75-minute Trager Approach bodywork session is $85.
Local Honey, Too
Alongside her bodywork practice, Sara also sells local honey through The Healing Bee. Unlike heavily processed commercial honey, local honey retains more of its natural vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. Many people reach for local honey to support overall wellness or as part of managing seasonal allergies, and raw honey is often described as having antiviral, antifungal, and antibacterial properties.
Who This Is a Good Fit For
Anyone dealing with chronic tension or stress who wants a gentle, fully-clothed alternative to traditional massage
People curious about nervous-system-focused bodywork as a complement to their existing care
Anyone local to the Lebanon area looking for a licensed massage therapist with a broad holistic background
Honey lovers interested in a local, minimally processed option
